MRS GUIDONE'S
FIRST GRADE
| Students in Mrs. Guidone's
class participated in a "hands-on" program called, "The Shadow
Knows" presented by the High-Touch, High-Tech organization.
Students explored the "fun" of shadows. They identified the dark and
light side of shadows and learned how they are influenced by the
earth's rotation around the sun.
At the end of the program
students were given materials to create their own individual
sun dials.
